A business that doesn’t fully understand
Brand Strategy is doomed to die without any real contribution to it’s market...
It’s like that Extra Actor at the beginning of the Movie - the one who always dies in the first 10 minutes. They give us something to relate to after the opening titles, they have a purpose, they even have a script, but they are doomed to die without any real contribution to the plot within their Market. No-one remembers them at the end of the story.
Many businesses come to us with no clue as to the importance of brand strategy. Thinking strategically is hard if you have never done it before, or are unfamiliar with the value it brings.
“I don’t need that” they say, while they really mean “I don’t understand why I need that”.
“Of course.”, I always reply, “Why would you need what you’ve never heard of or don’t understand? It’s not your fault, but listen, did you know that:
Wars are only won with Strategy.
Champions are only made by Strategy.
The Highest Skyscrapers can only be constructed by Strategy.
and Brands can ONLY be relevant through Strategy.
It’s like Monopoly but online! In order to attract new prospects and influence them to buy, you need digital real estate. A successful setup consists of a well optimized website, a syndicated blog, campaign specific sales pages, and dynamic funnel landing pages.
“Ah, so that’s why my website doesn’t work!”

Putting out content on a regular basis will help you get found online, BUT a good content strategy will result in repeat visits and help build trust with potential customers.
Fighting off your competition is easy when you have a good content strategy. Whilst content strategies help build rapport with potential customers it also keeps them coming back to your website or blog for more on a regular basis. Each time they do, it’s another touch point for your brand and that prospect is one step closer to moving down your sales funnel... but more on that later.
Search engines love good content. Take Google for example; their mission is to become the worlds best search engine (perhaps world domination too), and by definition that means giving the best user experience to their visitors. This makes content strategy easy as all you need to be thinking about is creating content that your market is likely to want to share.

Online sales funnels are great. Firstly, everything online is trackable unlike more traditional methods of marketig such as radio or newpaper advertising.
Secondly, it’s a cheap testing environment. At Froggo we can set up and run new campaigns to test sales funnels in less than a day.
Thirdly and by far the most important, sales funnels allow you to quantify the number of prospects at each stage of the process, so you can predict the number of prospects who will, in time, become customers. This is especially powerful for companies wanting to provide accurate sales predictions for, let’s say, raising capital or selling the a company.
